Carrier Centers now offers DPF Cleaning Services! Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust of a disel engine. The DPF on all 2007 and later engines must be cleaned at proper intervals of approximately 400 000 km (250 000 miles or 6000 hours) or less, depending on duty cycle. Left unchecked, soot collected in a DPF can damage or destroy a filter, resulting in a DPF replacement cost of $3000 or more.
